Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations

Validate the Implement process prior to implementing reassessment appraisals using this process.

Tip: Validations can be run as often as needed before implementing reassessment appraisals. Multiple validations are encouraged.

Prerequisites

Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations permission is required to run this process.

Implement reassessment appraisal validations

Validations only include the set of parcels (Active and Inactive only) based on the process input parameters and limited to Version 1 assessments set to the Open status.

When comparing values, the validation compares the Current Values to the Reassessment Values in the Reassessment columns.

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Processes.

  2. Under the Reassessments section, select Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations.

  3. Enter the Tax Year.

  1. Select Validate.

    Note: If a Pending Mass Appraisal Year does not exist when the Validate button is selected, the Mass Appraisal Year Missing warning modal displays.
  2. On the Last Process Run Status panel, select Refresh.

The completed process displays in the Last Process Run Status panel.

Validation results display in the Errors and Warnings panel.

Validate a fixed error or warning

Validate an error or warning is fixed from the Errors and Warnings panel.

  1. From the left-sign navigation, select Processes.

  2. Under the Reassessments section, select Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations.

  3. Run an Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validation.

    Any errors or warnings display in the Errors and Warnings panel. Errors and Warnings are defined as the following:

    • Errors: Current values will not be updated for one or more classes on a parcel. Reassessment column cannot be updated for at least one Class Code.

    • Warnings: The reassessment appraisal can be implemented, but an undesirable result may occur. Verifying warnings is encouraged

  1. Select the parcel identifier hyperlink to go to the parcel record and fix the error or address the warning.

  2. Return to the Errors and Warnings panel and select Validate.

    The item is removed from the panel.

Tip: To remove filters applied to the results in the Errors and Warnings panel, select Reset All Filters.

To export the Errors and Warnings as an Excel file, select Export to Excel.
