Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations
Validate the Implement process prior to implementing reassessment appraisals using this process.

Parcel Assessment Year has at least one Class Code.

Parcel Assessment Year has at least one Class Code.

Parcel Assessment Year has a Reassessment Appraisal linked.

Parcel Assessment initially picked up by the process should remain qualified when revalidating a parcel entry in errors and warnings.

The Class Code Appraisal in Parcel Assessments for the year passed in the process has an active linked appraisal.
-
The number of Acres in the Reassessment Columns matches the number of Acres in the latest version on Assessments.
-
The number of Lots in the Reassessment Columns matches the number of acres in the latest version on Assessments.
-
The number of Buildings in the Reassessment Columns matches the number of acres in the latest version on Assessments.
-
The Reassessment Columns land + building appraised values have a value greater than zero.
-
The Class Code tied to the Parcel Assessment for the tax year should be active.
-
For Ag Use Assessments, there should be an associated Market Class.
-
The Parcel Assessment has one, unique Market Class.
-
If the Parcel Assessment has multiple Class Codes, they must be distinct.
-
The posted reassessment appraisal is still valid.
-
There should be a Pending Appraisal Update for changed reassessment appraisals.
Prerequisites
Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations permission is required to run this process.
Implement reassessment appraisal validations
Validations only include the set of parcels (Active and Inactive only) based on the process input parameters and limited to Version 1 assessments set to the Open status.
When comparing values, the validation compares the Current Values to the Reassessment Values in the Reassessment columns.

From the left-side navigation, select Processes.

Under the Reassessments section, select Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations.

Enter the Tax Year.

Select Validate.
Note: If a Pending Mass Appraisal Year does not exist when the Validate button is selected, the Mass Appraisal Year Missing warning modal displays. -
On the Last Process Run Status panel, select Refresh.
The completed process displays in the Last Process Run Status panel.
Validation results display in the Errors and Warnings panel.
Validate a fixed error or warning
Validate an error or warning is fixed from the Errors and Warnings panel.

From the left-sign navigation, select Processes.

Under the Reassessments section, select Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validations.

Run an Implement Reassessment Appraisal Validation.
Any errors or warnings display in the Errors and Warnings panel. Errors and Warnings are defined as the following:

Errors: Current values will not be updated for one or more classes on a parcel. Reassessment column cannot be updated for at least one Class Code.

Warnings: The reassessment appraisal can be implemented, but an undesirable result may occur. Verifying warnings is encouraged

Select the parcel identifier hyperlink to go to the parcel record and fix the error or address the warning.

Return to the Errors and Warnings panel and select Validate.
The item is removed from the panel.
To export the Errors and Warnings as an Excel file, select Export to Excel.
